We’ve assembled a great advisory board to help guide and inspire our efforts. With their input and support, we believe that The Wellnurse will help hundreds of thousands of nurses maintain joy in their careers.

Gillian Connolly

BSN, RN-BC serves as the Director of the Med Surg unit at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center

Gillian has been the Director since 2015. Prior to that, she worked on the Med Surg unit as a staff nurse. She has a passion for improving patient outcomes and delivering high quality care to the patients in our community. She is also very dedicated to the growth and development of new grad RNs and works diligently to ensure that they are supported and competent as they begin their nursing career journeys. Gillian spends her time outside of work backpacking, hiking, skiing and birding. She is an outdoor enthusiast and loves living and working in the beautiful state of Colorado.

 

Donielle Robertson

Associate Chief Nursing Officer at Riverside Community Hospital

Donielle Robertson is a 20 year experienced RN and hospital leader for the last 7 years.  During the 20 years Donielle has held several positions including cardiac nurse, traveler, emergency department nurse and manager , house supervisor and now director.   The experience in all of these areas has given Donielle great knowledge and skills as a nurse and leader.  Donielle’s current passion as a leader is to help others grow personally and professionally in order to ensure a healthy work/life balance.

 

Emily Toner

Master of Clinical Psychology, University of Melbourne

Emily consults with large corporations and schools on how they can embed simple wellbeing practices and concepts into their organizations. She is also one of the leading contributors on the mediation app, Insight Timer. She also creates course for The Mind Department to help people with simple strategies for improving their mental health and wellbeing.

We believe the only way to lasting resiliency is addressing all components of life that can contribute to stress and burnout. We focus on training the mind, utilizing the body, accessing the power of the outdoors, and tapping into your purpose. These are the 4 pillars of our Wellnurse program.
